Returns

  • Due to health and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges of perishable items, including tea bags and loose tea leaves – this applies to both standard and customized items.
  • Please note that naturally occurring irregularities or variations in our handcrafted tea bags do not qualify for returns or exchanges.
  • For all other products, please contact us at help@teabeasties.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the item. If the item is deemed defective, you will be eligible for a replacement or refund to your original payment method.
  • To qualify for a return:
    • The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all original contents (e.g. manuals, free gifts, accessories).
    • Items that are damaged, not in their original condition, or missing parts may be ineligible for return or only qualify for a partial refund.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of damaged or incorrect items.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not liable for returned items lost in transit.
  • Items damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging will not be accepted.

Refunds

  • Shipping charges will only be refunded for orders that are incorrect or damaged on arrival (DOA). For all other cases, shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • For DOA cases, please refuse the parcel upon delivery and notify your local postal office immediately to qualify for a full refund or free replacement.
  • Claims for DOA, incorrect, or missing items must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery. Please email us at help@teabeasties.com with your order number and photo evidence.
  • Unless due to DOA or shipping error, the following deductions will apply:
    • A shipping fee of $10 or actual postage cost (whichever is higher)
    • Any incurred return shipping charges
    • A 15% restocking fee, unless otherwise specified
  • All returned items will undergo a quality check. Approved refunds (less applicable fees) will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 7–10 business days for inspection and an additional 3–10 business days for refund processing.
  • We are unable to offer refunds for:
    • Unclaimed, refused (unless DOA), abandoned, stolen, or disposed parcels
    • Clearance items
    • Personalized or custom-made items

Missing Parcels

  • Per Singapore Post regulations, missing items are only considered lost after 12 weeks from the shipping date. However, Tea Beasties will accept missing parcel claims after 8 weeks as a gesture of goodwill and eligible orders will receive a free replacement.
  • Refund requests for missing items will only be processed after the 12-week waiting period, in line with postal regulations.
  • Refunds and redelivery requests do not apply in cases of service delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, or other uncontrollable events.
