Refunds And Returns

 

All Tea Beasties tea bags are handmade and prepared upon order confirmation. This includes both gift sets and regular tea bag orders. Regular tea bag orders are made according to each customer’s selected tea leaf combination and specifications. As such, all products are made to order and handled fresh upon purchase.

Due to this made to order nature and in compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations, all tea bag products are strictly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once production has begun.
This applies to:

  • Tea bags
  • Loose tea leaves
  • Personalized or made-to-order items
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Gift sets

As we process orders promptly to ensure freshness and efficient fulfillment, order cancellations or modifications are only accepted within 60 minutes of order placement. After this period, all orders are considered final and cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.

Please note that naturally occurring irregularities, slight variations in appearance, tea leaf distribution, fill level, color, shape, or texture are normal characteristics of handcrafted products and do not qualify as defects.

 

Returns

For non-perishable and non-custom items only, return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery by emailing help@teabeasties.com with your order number and clear photo evidence.

To qualify for an approved return, the item must be:

  • Unused and unopened
  • In original packaging
  • Returned with all original contents, inserts, accessories, and complimentary items

Items returned incomplete, used, damaged, or not in original condition may be rejected or subject to partial refund.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an incorrect or defective item caused by our error. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method as Tea Beasties is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged during return transit.

 

Refunds

Shipping charges are non-refundable except where an order arrives damaged on arrival (DOA) or an incorrect item was shipped due to our error.

For DOA shipments, customers should refuse the parcel upon delivery where possible and notify their local postal office immediately. Failure to do so may affect eligibility for replacement or refund.

Claims for damaged, incorrect, or missing items must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the delivery date. Please email help@teabeasties.com with your order number and clear photographic evidence.

All claims and returned items are subject to inspection and verification. Refunds, replacements, or store credits are issued solely at our discretion after assessment.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method, excluding any non-refundable shipping fees, customs charges, duties, taxes, or payment processing fees where applicable.

Please allow:

  • 7–10 business days for claim review and inspection
  • An additional 3–10 business days for refund processing by your payment provider

 

Refunds, Replacements, and Delivery Exceptions

Refunds, replacements, or reshipments will not be provided in any of the following circumstances:

  • Natural disasters or force majeure events
  • Customs inspections, clearance delays, or other customs-related processes
  • Postal strikes, carrier disruptions, or service interruptions
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping information provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery attempts or recipient unavailability
  • Failure to provide required documentation or to pay applicable customs duties, taxes, or import charges
  • Refusal or failure to accept or pay customs duties, taxes, or other fees required for parcel release
  • Parcels deemed abandoned, confiscated, or destroyed by customs authorities due to non-payment or non-compliance
  • Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
